Individuals upload voice messages to our archive, allowing family members to recognise their relatives and loved ones.

Who can use Reunited?

Anyone who has been separated by conflict, persecution, disaster, or any other forms of displacement or anyone supporting someone in this situation can use Reunited to try to locate their loved ones.

How do I share a message on Reunited?

To share a message, simply fill out the form on our ‘Share a message’ page with your name, the country you were displaced from, and any other identifying details. Then upload a voice message or record it directly.

How can I find my loved one(s) on Reunited?

You can search for voice messages using criteria such as name, country and year of displacement.

What happens if I think I have found a loved one?

If you think you have found a loved one, click on the “Do you know me?” button and provide contact details along with an explanation of why you believe it is your relative. Once we verify the match, we will facilitate a safe and direct reconnection with your relative outside our platform.

What happens if I can’t find my loved one(s) on Reunited?

If you can’t find your loved one(s) immediately, don’t give up. The platform is regularly updated with new messages, so please continue to check periodically.

Can I edit or delete a message after it has been uploaded?

Once a message is uploaded, it cannot be edited or deleted by users to help maintain the integrity and safety of the information shared on the platform. However, if you need to update your message or would like to delete it, you can contact us at info@reunited.icu and we would be happy to assist you.

What languages are supported on Reunited?

We are committed to making Reunited accessible to as many people as possible. Currently, our platform supports several languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Swahili, Burmese, Pashto and Dari.
